Red Soldier, Alice

This is a piece I made for the ballet adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. The armour was sculpted over a fibre glass torso in wet clay. It was then moulded in plaster and cast in fibre glass to create 2 vac-form tools, one for the back of the armour and the other for the front. These tools where then used to create vac-form pieces that where painted and finished to create light weight armour for the performers to dance in.
